Stevens Tool Company LLC is based in Texas and was officially founded by me, Samuel Stevens, in early 2026.

I have always been fascinated by "cool gear." Growing up, I collected knives here and there, but it never became a serious passion until later in life. For many years, I was deeply interested in collecting guitars, amplifiers, and effects pedals.

Before diving into the world of EDC in my late teens and early twenties, I worked as a guitar amplifier technician at a local amp shop in Fort Worth, Texas. My job involved repairing, designing, and building tube amplifiers. Having been involved in the Fort Worth music scene, it was the perfect job for me at the time. It was there that I fell in love with the art of manufacturing.

When I discovered the incredible EDC community, I transitioned away from the music world and secured a position at my local knife shop. As I became more involved in the community and progressed as a collector, I decided I wanted to design my own products.

It is important to me to keep manufacturing in the United States and to perform as much of the process in-house as possible. Currently, all Stevens Tool Co. products are designed and finished in-house. Machining is outsourced to American manufacturing facilities until I am able to acquire the equipment necessary to bring that process in-house, including the purchase of a CNC machine.
